Sometimes you might get hit with a bunch of pop ups from people who add galleries to my site. As soon as I find a popup I blacklist that domain and the submitter's ip address. I currently have blacklisted 92 domains to make sure your stay here will be enjoyable. Usually popups are going to other porn sites but once in a while the popup may go to a browser hijack script. A browser hijack script will not allow you to visit certain sites like google, msn, and others. Also the script takes keywords from some sites and will redirect you to their system. For example, I was trying to visit a site and I would be redirected to some other page as ordered by the script. I recommend that you download adaware 6.0 and run a scan on your computer. It's a freeware version but it definately does its job. I also recomend that you download reg cleaner. This software is free as well but trickier. If you find something like bargain buddy, iefeats, ist, xxxtoolbar, powerscan, dialers, winshow, then you should uninstall these. You will see them in the software, startup list, and uninstall menu. Spy Sweeper 2.2 is also good. It will scan your computer and find any spyware. I also recommend that you download browser hijack blaster. Browser Hijack Blaster protects your system from browser hijackers and spyware that alters your Internet Explorer settings. It runs in the system tray and silently monitors the settings for IE Homepage, IE Default Page, IE Search Page, BHOs (Browser Helper Objects). If any of these settings are changed, it will intercept and warn you, giving you the option to undo the changes. I also recommend hijack this but I haven't been able to find a place to download it from. If you have the program, make sure you get rid of anything that starts with numbers or that says ist. Sometime if you don't get rid of the problem properly, it might reinstall itself when you restart your computer. Try some of these and find out which ones are the best for you. Have a good one,
